Kay Marks joined VWB/VSF in March, 2024 as Director of Fundraising. Kay brings 20 years of unwavering commitment to the world of nonprofit organizations. Her journey began at the Canadian Cancer Society, where she dedicated 9 years to fighting for a cancer-free future. During this time, she witnessed the resilience of human spirit and the power of collective action.

Driven by her passion for animals, Kay transitioned to World Animal Protection, where she spent 11 transformative years as the Director of Development. There, she championed the cause of animal welfare, advocating for their rights and well-being. Kay has seen firsthand how the interconnectedness of animals, humans, and our planet shapes our shared destiny.

Now, as part of the Veterinarians Without Borders team, Kay will continue to channel her passion into meaningful impact. Whether it’s securing vital resources, fostering partnerships, or creating innovative fundraising campaigns, Kay is committed to making a difference.
