Double your impact!

MATCH YOUR GIFT

You can provide essential veterinary equipment and care to pets in remote Northern communities.

Improve health and save lives.

This Giving Tuesday, you have the power to improve health and save lives. In remote communities across Canada and the United States, the lack of regular access to veterinary care puts both animals and people at serious risk. Pets often live shorter lives, dying from diseases that could easily be treated or prevented. Unvaccinated dogs can transfer deadly diseases like rabies to humans, with children being most vulnerable to dog bites. In the Northwest Territories, just three veterinarians serve the entire region, while Nunavut has no veterinary clinics at all. Nearly 200 communities in Alaska also lack consistent veterinary care.

This Giving Tuesday, you can make a life-saving difference by providing essential vet care, spay/neuter programs and equipment for our no-cost clinic—and have your gift matched*:

  • $25 provides vital vaccines for one dog or cat, protecting them from preventable diseases.
  • $55 covers the cost of a vaccination clinic visit for one dog or cat.
  • $75 buys an anesthetic and surgery kit, enabling life-saving procedures.
  • $95 purchases a blood pressure monitor to support critical care.
  • $260 supplies medical tools like dental equipment, a warming blanket, and sterilization kits.
  • $350 will spay or neuter a dog.
  • $500 helps vaccinate 20 dogs, offering a community a significant health boost.
  • $750 funds community training programs, including pet first aid and lay vaccinator training.
  • $1,025 provides essential vaccines for 41 dogs or cats, protecting them from preventable diseases.

DOUBLE the impact for animals this Giving Tuesday—twice the number of animals will benefit, and so will entire communities**.

Veterinarians Without Borders/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières North America (VWB/VSF) collaborates with remote communities to identify their unique needs, offering temporary, no-cost veterinary clinics staffed by dedicated volunteers. But we can’t provide these essential services without the proper equipment—or your support!

Without the crucial support of donors like you, (VWB) cannot provide vet care or vaccinate the hundreds of dogs that still need protection from rabies, leaving communities vulnerable.

Make a difference today. Together, we can improve health, save lives, and ensure that communities have the veterinary care they need year-round.

NOTE: Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, mail delivery across Canada may be delayed. If you are planning to send donations or other documents, we encourage you to consider electronic options during this time.
