Help provide emergency rescue, care, food, and shelter for animals and underserved families affected by California's wildfires

HELP ANIMALS NOW

Over the past weeks, out-of-control wildfires that continue to burn have devastated Southern California, leaving families and their beloved animals in urgent need of help. Homes have been destroyed, communities displaced, and countless dogs, cats, and other animals are injured, vulnerable, and scared.

These fires are some of the most devastating in California's history and could very well become one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history. Thousands continue to flee their homes, and critical infrastructure has been destroyed.

Your gift today can...

🐾 Provide emergency animal rescue and care

  • Together with on-the-ground organizations like Living Free Animal Sanctuary, VWB is delivering immediate, life-saving relief to animals impacted by the fires.
  • This includes rescuing and and transporting affected animals like dogs, horses, and pigs. Living Free also offers an equine therapy program to support the recovery of first responders.

🌟 Launch the emergency crisis resilience response fund

  • Through this fund, VWB is providing pet care vouchers of $250–$500 to evacuees with pets, helping them cover critical expenses such as:
  • Emergency veterinary care.
  • Pet food, leashes, and other essential supplies.

These vouchers, distributed in collaboration with local assistance programs, provide flexibility and dignity to underserved families navigating this challenging time.

You can provide hope for animals that need it most.

DONATE NOW

Your generous gift today can ensure that animals in crisis receive emergency care and shelter. As the fires continue to burn, your donation will ensure that emergency response services are available for animals and pet guardians who need them most.
